Mashtun notes
On the nose we got everything from tires to hairspray and more. The palate was wood smoke, hairspray, oak, and leather. The finish was short to medium with sweet smoke, perfume, and flowers. We really loved this dram and would recommend it. We all really enjoyed this dram. It’s a classic bit of “Highland Peatiness” from Ardmore and a touch of water opens up the dram and brings out more woody notes on the nose and malts on the palate.

At bottle strength the full rich flavours burst and fill the mouth with a creamy peat tang and a touch of vanilla’s soft gentleness. If a touch of water is added then the flavours increase with the addition of a sweet ripe fruit start followed by the tang of peat.
