Mashtun notes

It’s fair to say that we all got an initially hit of cut grass on the nose before the sweet vanilla jumped out. On the palate we got smooth vanilla and light spices. Overall the finish was short with a slight tartness at the end, not to that’s a bad thing. We added water but all agreed that it didn’t really need it as it only served to bitter the finish. In short, this is a very pleasant and inoffensive dram that would be a good introduction to whisky for anyone.

Overall = 63/100
