Mashtun notes:

The nose on this dram gave us white chocolate, vanilla, pepper, and heather. The palate had an initial ‘light’ burn. On the palate it gave us creamy white chocolate, fruit loaf, vanilla, and spices. The finish is long and holds the palate flavours quite well. It has a fantastic golden colour and thick oily texture. Air mellowed every aspect of this whisky and bought out hints of vanilla on the nose. Adding water to this dram really brings it to life! Just a little brought out floral notes and vanilla on the nose. It also gave us a little key lime pie on the palate and lengthened the finish. This is another fantastic dram from the SMWS. It’s surprisingly smooth for its ABV and a little water really does bring it to life!
